Chen Lung married Miki, a Japanese, and introduced her to the Malaysian Chinese custom. Dressed in a beautiful Chinese qua, Miki and Chen Lung performed the tea ceremony at the Pinang Suite in E&O Hotel, Penang. Cocktails were served at the Conservatory before guests proceeded into the ballroom for dinner. The foyer of the ballroom was filled with floating white and gold balloons. In the ballroom, the gallery boxes were decked with fairy lights. Entertainment for the night was by Jeep Jazz Trio. There was also a cultural dance show in between.
